About SCOPE Foundation

The Species Conservation and Protection of Ecosystems (SCOPE) Foundation is a science-focused conservation organisation in Bangladesh, formally established in 2017. However, its founding members have been engaged in wildlife science and conservation efforts, particularly on migratory birds since 2010. SCOPE is committed to the protection of wildlife and the preservation of natural habitats across Bangladesh. Since its inception, the foundation has been actively involved in numerous science and conservation initiatives, with a strong emphasis on threatened bird species in diverse ecosystems throughout the country. In addition, SCOPE participates in collaborative projects beyond Bangladesh, extending its impact and scientific engagement.

SCOPE envisions a sustainable future for Bangladesh where nature flourishes and biodiversity thrives, safeguarded by the very communities living closest to it, fostering a harmonious coexistence between people and the natural world.

Mission

SCOPE is dedicated to conserving species and habitats in Bangladesh through science-based, sustainable solutions that balance ecological integrity with human needs.
